Nature of the Service

This private reference has no authority over Grant County or Kentucky public offices. It stores no official custody records and cannot confirm custody, release a person, or file a government document. Its pages point readers toward jail and inmate record sources in Grant County and may connect visitors with outside research tools.

Acceptable Use

By using the site, you agree to act lawfully and responsibly. You must not:

• violate a law or another person’s rights;
• use information to stalk, threaten, or harass anyone;
• base employment, housing, credit, lending, or insurance decisions on site content;
• attempt access to restricted systems or accounts;
• operate bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools; or
• interfere with availability or use by other visitors.

No Consumer Reports

Grant County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It provides no background check, credit report, consumer report, or screening service. Advertising and search partners do not turn this site into an FCRA service. You agree not to use site or linked-tool information for:

• hiring, firing, promotion, or another employment decision;
• tenant selection or housing eligibility;
• creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing;
• licenses, permits, or government-program eligibility; or
• any other purpose governed by the FCRA.

Links and Outside Services

Links may lead to release records, sheriff or corrections websites, Kentucky portals, legal-aid resources, and third-party search services. A link is not an endorsement. We do not control an outside site’s content, privacy practices, data handling, terms, or uptime. Review its rules before submitting information or paying for a service.

No Warranties

The service and its content are offered “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant:

• that information is accurate, complete, or current;
• continuous or uninterrupted access;
• freedom from errors, defects, or security weaknesses; or
• complete or useful results from an outside search provider.

Custody and public records can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement by Grant County, a sheriff, a court, or a corrections agency.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, Grant County Released Inmates and its owners, operators, and partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising from access to, reliance on, or inability to use the site or linked services.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its owners, operators, and partners harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by your use of the service, violation of these terms, or infringement of another person’s rights.

Intellectual Property

Unless stated otherwise, the site’s original text, graphics, logos, layout, and code belong to Grant County Released Inmates or its content partners. You may not copy, republish, distribute, or modify protected material without written permission.

Kentucky Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, including applicable Kentucky consumer-protection law such as the Kentucky Consumer Protection Act, KRS Chapter 367. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Kentucky.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the rest remain effective. The affected provision will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
